Its been awhile since i write an entry for Zumba here.
Heres one of the most frequent question, Why Zumba?


Why Zumba?

1. Complete workout
Yes!! Zumba is a complete workout program. It starts with a 4 to 10 minutes warm up and ends with a relaxing cool down. Warm up included Cardio, Toning and Steps touch to bring up your heart rate and tell your body "Hey, Im ready to Burn!". For the cool down (its my favourite) which you do a little bit of dance and a little bit of stretching to bring down the heart rate to normal, and this is exactly the moment you feel so relaxing, and the energy flows through your blood.

2. Effective

You wanna lose weight? You really need to try one Zumba class (Results are subject to diet plan). According to the recent Zumba study sponsored by ACE and led by Dr. John Porcari, a person can burn an average of 369 calories after doing a 38-minute Zumba class with an average heart rate of 154 beats per minute. They also compared the calorie burn with other exercises studied in the past, and discovered that Zumba could help one burn more calories than step aerobics and cardio kickboxing. Of course, the actual calorie burn will depend on the energy you get from the class, the instructor, the type of music, dance moves and your actual mood.

3. Stress Therapy

Most of the Zumba instructor DANCE LIKE CRAZY (Im not sure about the other but im sure the one)Zumba considered as effective therapy for some emotional hardships and stressors, because during the class you smile, be with positive people (especially the instructor, hehehe) and enjoy a great way to express yourself. Other forms of exercise feel more like a punishment and stress your body and mind. You can’t even smile because you’re pushing yourself too much during the workout.
